Whitestone Screen Protector 2-Pack for Galaxy S10 Costs $60, Doesn’t Have Giant Hole

Whitestone Glass Galaxy S10

We had a solid chuckle at a recent photo to the hit the web, showing a screen protector for the Galaxy S10 that had a hole in the middle to allow for owners to utilize the ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Apparently, it’s a real thing, but other companies, Whitestone in particular, are now taking the opportunity to let potential buyers know that their Dome Glass screen protectors do not have giant fingerprint holes and are also the only tempred glass accepted as a partner for the Samsung Mobile Accessory Partnership Program (SMAPP).

We actually guessed that Samsung or another 3rd-party accessory maker would announce a screen protector with no hole for about $50 a pop, but Whitestone is now selling a 2-pack of its Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ Dome Glass for $60. That’s $30 each, which doesn’t seem terrible.

Interestingly, the Dome Glass protectors do have holes, but for the front-facing camera(s) and not the fingerprint reader. My guess is that allows for better looking selfies, but still, these aren’t completely hole-less.

Should you be big on screen protection, you can pre-order Dome Glass right now.
