The Google Play store picked up a new addition this week in the form of a storage space status button that shows you how much storage you’ve used and have free. You shouldn’t have any confusion around the open space left for you to install another six games for your child.
The new shortcut was first spotted by reddit users and Tim and I are both already seeing it. All you have to do is open Google Play, head into the My Apps & Games section, then swipe over to the “Installed” tab. You should see it at the top.
If you are at the point where storage is tight, you can tap on the shortcut to enter the “Free up space” feature within your phone. That’ll let you quickly remove apps you aren’t using or can get rid of to make room for something else.
Cool.
