Mobvoi’s Ticwatch C2, the $199.99 Wear OS watch they announced back in October, is now available for purchase.
The Ticwatch C2 features 1-2 day battery life, IP68 water and dust resistance, NFC, GPS, heart rate monitoring. a 42mm steel case, and easily swappable watch bands. It has a 1.3″ AMOLED display (360×360), 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, 400mAh battery, and comes in Rose Gold, Onyx, and Platinum finishes. It also runs a Snapdragon Wear 2100, not the new Wear 3100.
Should you buy one? It looks like a decent enough Wear OS watch. The case size is right, as are all of the specs outside of the the Wear 3100. But as we’ve talked about recently, the Wear 3100 is kind of a bust of a chipset that doesn’t really add anything to Wear OS at the moment. This watch will totally do what you need it to do.
Oh, and to launch, it’s 10% off, so you can get one for just $179.99 if you order within a day.
