Nest kicked off a sale on its Nest Hello doorbell today, dropping the price by $30 at most retailers that sell it. There’s a better deal on it at Macy’s and B&H Photo, though.
For a limited time, Macy’s has Nest Hello for $50 off, bringing the price down to just $179. B&H Photo, on the other hand, has the $30 price drop, but is also tossing in a free Google Home Mini in any color ($50 value).
To recap, Nest Hello is the smart home company’s first doorbell product. It features HD video, night vision, a 160-degree wide-angle lens, HDR, and sleek, minimal design. It works with Google Assistant and displays, so you can pull up your camera feeds by voice and will soon automatically display the camera feed on Google Home Hub or Pixel 3 when someone rings the bell.
Both Tim and I use Nest Hello at our own homes and are pretty big fans of it. It’s super easy to install and isn’t awkward for visitors to try and figure out like some doorbells.
