The blog bro who went full-unboxing the other day with a Pixel 3 XL in white is back again with some fresh action. This time, we have a 5-minute video of the phone doing the least-exciting thing on the planet – running benchmarks. Still, it’s the Pixel 3 XL doing things months before it will be released!
In this video, which is painful to watch because of the portrait setup, blurring, and benchmark running, we basically just see the UI from a Pixel 2 XL running on a phone with a giant f*cking notch. There is an exterior tour of the Pixel 3 XL at the end of the video (3:15 mark), which will bring you some joy, should you care about phone design. The green button is back. That glossy white finish is too.
We do get to see 64GB storage again and Snapdragon 845 processor again. As for new info, the benchmarks reveal a 6.7-inch display size (that’s new!), 12.2MP rear camera, 8.1MP dual front camera setup, and 3430mAh battery. The phone also appears to have image or wallpaper support on its always-on display.
And that’s pretty much it.
