According to @evleaks, Google has a 2nd-generation Pixelbook coming, said to be released by the end of this year. The original Pixelbook launched only last year in early October.
The new one, described in Evan’s tweet, will feature smaller bezels, but that is the only detail provided. It seems like a safe assumption that any new Pixelbook will also run the latest silicon from Intel. Current Pixelbook models ship with the seventh generation i5 and i7, so maybe we’ll see the eighth generation i5 and i7 for Pixelbook 2?
Naturally, we can’t talk about Google’s upcoming fall lineup without also mentioning Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. From last week, we continue to see the codenames Crosshatch and Blueline appear in AOSP. And don’t forget, Evan also reported back in May that we should expect to see a Pixel-branded smartwatch this year.
This fall is probably going to kick major booty if you’re a Google fan.
Add to this fall hardware lineup a second-generation Pixelbook, with smaller bezels, scheduled to ship before the end of the year.
