Tuesday Poll: Are You an Amazon Echo or Google Home Household?

Last year in May, we asked our readers if they owned either an Echo or Google Home device for their home. Surprisingly, Neither was the winner in that poll, with 34% of voters saying they didn’t have either device in their house. Second place in that poll went to Google Home with 32% of the vote.

As a followup, we’re back to ask the same question, except this time, I’m expecting the results to be a bit different. Since last May, we’ve seen the launch of Google Home Mini, which makes having Google Assistant in your home extremely affordable. There is even a really expensive Home Max version for the more audio-inclined folks among us. On that basis alone, I suspect Google Home ownership has skyrocketed.
