DEAL: Verizon Hosting BOGO Pixel 2 or Galaxy S9, Note 8 Promo

Pixel 2 XL Deal

Hey, before we get started on Verizon’s latest BOGO deal on our favorite Android phones, you should read this. Because I’m sure some bro in the comments will complain about us writing this up since it’s a bill credit scheme, also known as a 2-year contract. Yes, bruh, we know that and hate it too. But we can also acknowledge that people will be with Verizon for the long haul and might actually benefit from this.

So yeah, Verizon is hosting a BOGO deal on the top Android phones, including the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 8, LG G7, V30, and Moto Z2. You can buy any of these and receive a second one “free” or with a heavy discount. There are some things to know, of course.

This is how Big Red lays it out for an S9, S9+, and Note 8:

  1. Add one of these phones with monthly device payments to your cart: Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ or Note8.
  2. Add a second Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ or Note8 to your cart with monthly device payments.
  3. Get $799.99 credited to your account over 24 months.

See that? There is a cap on how much of a discount on the second phone you get. The same thing applies to the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. If you choose a Pixel 2 XL, you don’t get it free, but instead get $649.99 off. It all depends on the phone you choose and Verizon is actually making that clear on each phone’s listing.

As you saw from that last bullet, the discount is applied over 24 months, so it is indeed a 2-year contract.

Also, the second phone needs to be on a new line, as far as I can tell. Verizon isn’t letting you upgrade two phones on active lines, which is super sh*tty of them and a garbage move.

You know how I feel about these deals, but again, if you are with Verizon and don’t plan on going anywhere, this is technically a way for you to buy one phone and get a second for free or at a deeply discounted price.
