Samsung is Giving Galaxy Owners $500 of In-App Purchases to Select Games Right Now

Want some free sh*t today? Cool, Samsung has a bunch for you, with a value at around $500.

How do you get it? Oh, through their obnoxiously-part-of-the-scene Galaxy Apps store. If you own a Galaxy phone (like a Galaxy S9, S8, Note 8, etc.), all you need to do is open the Galaxy Apps app, and tap on the little present icon in the top right corner. That will open up a promotions tab that should include a “CASHE VALUE PACK” with a value of “$500+.”

If you tap through that promotion, you’ll end up back in the Galaxy Apps app to a section filled with dozens of games. I believe that some of the games are free, but the real value is in in-app purchase credits. Most of the apps will list what you get for free, along with their value. For example, Cut the Rope 2 is gifting 10,000 Candy Coins ($15 value).

The weird in-app purchase freebie-a-thon started yesterday and runs through May 16.
