The OnePlus 6 will arrive on May 16 at an event in London called “The Speed You Need.” If not in London, don’t worry, as the whole thing will be streamed to the rest of the world.
OnePlus didn’t say when the phone will go on sale, but in the past, they’ve opened up pre-orders within about a week. I’d imagine they’ll do the same here with the OnePlus 6. How much will it cost? Yeah, we don’t know that. My guess is it’ll hover at around $550 on the low-end if we keep on this trend of price increases from OnePlus.
If in London and interested in attending the event, you can buy tickets right here. Why would you buy tickets to an event when everyone else in the industry hosts them for free? Well, most other companies don’t open these events up to the public and instead let only press in. OnePlus is at least giving you a chance to go, but the space is limited so they are selling spots.
Still find that annoying? You shouldn’t really. Last year, they gave OnePlus 5T ticket buyers $40 off a 5T, plus a backpack full of swag. At this London event, they’ll do the same. OnePlus tells us that the “value of the swag bag collected at the launch event far exceeds the price of the ticket.”
May 16!
