Instagram is pushing a change to Stories this week for Android, with the change set to come to iOS devices in the coming weeks. Side note, yes, Android rules and iOS drools. Moving on.
With the update, users can now mass upload photos and videos to Stories, no longer requiring the upload of single pictures and videos. When you go to the Upload portion of the app, you’ll see a new icon for mass uploading in the top right. Tap on that icon, then choose all of the media you want to upload to a story. You can also choose to edit portions at that time, then publish it.
On the edit screen, you’ll see a preview of all the media you’ve selected lined up at the bottom, you can tap each one to edit individually with stickers, text and all the other creative tools in Instagram Stories. When you’re done, all of the photos and videos in your preview will upload at once in the order you selected them.
This update is now live for Android, so go grab it on Google Play.
