LG G7 CAD-Based Render Details 6″ Bezel-Less Display and Dual Cameras, Oh, Plus a Notch

In a new video published this weekend, OnLeaks and TheMrPhone are providing us with a 360-degree look at what could be the LG G7, with a few changes I think you’re going to be interested in.

For starters, let’s go ahead and talk about the notch. According to TheMrPhone, the LG G7 will sport a 6″ bezel-less display, complete with display cutout. To go along with that notch, there is a little bit of bottom chin and top forehead, meaning LG isn’t going quite iPhone X clone.

Besides the notch, there is a button addition that has even TheMrPhone a little confused. Apparently, the G7 has a button where you’d typically find a Power button on the right side, as well as a separate button on the left side, directly under the volume up and down rocker. It’s the same setup as found on the Galaxy S9, but LG doesn’t have a pre-loaded digital assistant to cram down our throats, at least that we know of. It’s speculated that LG has done away with the fingerprint reader doubling as the power button, but that still doesn’t account for the extra button below the volume rocker. Ugh, I really do hate mystery buttons.

Other notable things include the vertical dual camera setup, LED flash, USB Type-C port, plus a headphone jack. What these renders cannot tell us is if the G7 will sport dual stereo speakers. If LG does what Samsung did this year, where they have the earpiece doubling as a speaker, then it’s entirely possible.

Watch the video, breathe deeply, then share your thoughts down below.
