We have a new report concerning the LG G7 this week, plus a little bit on the LG V40. According to Korea’s ETNews, LG will look to launch the G7 in Korea this May, following an unveiling event next month in April.
Detailed in the report, the G7 will be priced a bit higher than last year’s G6, coming in around $800. For specs, based on the photos we saw of the G7 at MWC, we’re expecting a top notch (aka display cutaway), Snapdragon 845 processor, rear-facing fingerprint reader, premium audio components, and dual rear-facing 16-megapixel cameras.
It’s also reported that a LG G7 Pro model will be available in select markets, offering bumps in storage and RAM.
For the LG V40, its launch has apparently been pushed from September to November. Considering we haven’t really begun reporting on the V40, we can’t quite call this a delay, but simply an updated estimation for when we expect the device to launch.
We’re coming up on April, so we can expect much more G7 news to come.
