Google dropped some clues about Google I/O 2018 last night on Twitter and nerds gathered to decipher them. Those nerds have declared that the Google I/O 2018 will take place May 8-10, once again in Mountain View at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
If history tells us anything, Google will soon confirm the dates, while also announcing a registration window. Once that registration window rolls around, you’ll have a number of days to get registered, which really just means you are putting your name in the hat for a lottery or drawing that Google runs in order to decide who gets to come hangout with them for the week. Should you get chosen, you’ll fork out quite a bit of money if not a student. But hey, I/O is a pretty sweet time, so if you’ve got the cash and want to learn all there is to know about Google’s developer side of things, keep an eye out for more dates.
We’ll keep you posted.
UPDATE: Google confirmed the dates this afternoon and also announced registration dates.
