FYI: Amazon Prime Monthly Price Raising From $10.99 to $12.99

If you opt for the monthly payment instead of annual plan for Amazon Prime, take note that your price is going up. In an email sent out this morning, Amazon made current Prime members aware of a change in pricing, one that will have bills going up by $2/month.

Before the change took place, the price for a monthly subscription to Prime was $10.99/month, but now the price will be $12.99/month. It’s $2, which may not seem like too much, but compared to what you’d save with the annual price, you may want to opt for the all-at-once option.

The annual plan for Prime is just $99, meaning you’ll save $55.88 over course of 12 months with the $12.99/month option. That’s literally more than half the price of an annual plan, so if you think you use enough Prime to spend that $99, do it.

Here’s the email Amazon is sending out to customers.
