Huawei has a new lineup of phones on the horizon and the first to be detailed pretty deeply is the Mate 10 Lite. Posted by VentureBeat, the Mate 10 Lite is apparently the more affordable option in the Mate 10 lineup, with there being three devices in total. There’s the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite.
According to the report, the Mate 10 Lite will come equipped with a 5.9″ FHD+ display (18:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2160), Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, dual rear-facing cameras (16MP + 2MP), 3,340mAh battery, and Android 8.0 “Oreo” with Huawei’s custom EMUI skin running on top.
If none of this jumps out at you, remember, this is the Lite version, with the standard and Pro models sure to blow spec sheets away.
As reported, the Mate 10 Lite is said to launch on October 16 in Munich, with shipping scheduled for a month later. Pricing is said to be €379, which is about $455 USD.
For us in the US, the Lite version may not get much attention, but this design and spec sheet is a good indication of what we can expect from the standard and Pro models. As more details are made known, or when Huawei makes these devices official next month, we’ll let you know.
