Hot icon packs are something we’ve always got our eyes peeled for, and today, I’ve discovered another one I would like to share. Called Graby Spin, this pack is especially noteworthy because it’s free for a limited time on Google Play, down from a usual price of $0.99. Packed with 2,500+ icons and a ton of cloud-based wallpapers, free ain’t bad at all.
To me, this icon pack brings a blast of color, a big change from my typical taste in custom icons. I’m usually drawn towards more minimal, plain looking icons, but switching it up is always a good way to keep things fresh.
As I said, there are over 2,500 circle-shaped icons, meaning you shouldn’t come across too many of your own apps that don’t get skinned. On my device, there was only a handful of app icons that didn’t get decked out, which were Star Wars: GOH, Redfin, a couple of other games, and FOX Sports GO. Other than that, all my icons are looking quite pretty and colorful. Even new apps, like YouTube TV, were supported. If there are icons you have that aren’t inside this pack, the developer does offer an Icon Request system, meaning your icon of choice could make its way into a new batch for the pack.
Besides the icons, the pack does come with many cloud-based wallpapers, 80 in total. And yes, they’re all in 2K resolution, so all of you QHD display owners should have zero issues when applying. Not all of the wallpapers are original, as I recognize a few of them, most notably the geometric ones from artist Simon Page.
If you’re looking for a fresh look, I’d say look no further. Couple these bright icons with a brightly colored Google Search bar (pictured above) and you’re in for an ocular treat.
