Here’s some news you can file under not-so-surprising, with it being reported by SamMobile that Samsung has begun development on the Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
While this news is indeed exciting for anyone carrying a Galaxy S8 around, here’s still no indication as to when these updates may be available. It could be later this year or even next year, we really don’t know when it comes to Samsung. However, even though we do not know when any Oreo update is expected, the good news is that thanks to Samsung’s usage of multi-CSC firmwares, it shouldn’t take all too long for those around the globe to receive it once the software has been thoroughly tested.
As more information is made available, whether it come from Samsung or new reports, we’ll keep you posted.
