Weekly Recap: The Essential Phone Isn’t Exactly ‘Essential’

We capped off this week by posting our Essential Phone review, and if you want a quick recap of our findings, it’s some of the best hardware we’ve ever seen, but is coupled with one of the worst camera/software performance issues ever experienced. Beyond Essential, we finally got the Galaxy Note 8 in-house, learned that Google might be on the verge of purchasing HTC’s smartphone business outright, and learned more about what we should expect from the Pixel 2. It was a fun week!
