The Moto Z2 Force is officially here, purchasable on basically any major US carrier. You can find it on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, at Best Buy, or grab it on Motorola’s website. This is a major accomplishment for Motorola, so props to them.
If you missed our official review, here’s a recap of what you’re getting. The Z2 Force has a 5.5″ QHD ShatterShield display, Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, expandable storage, 2,730mAh battery, dual rear-facing 12MP cameras, USB Type-C (no headphone hack), water repellent nano coating, and Android 7.1.1+ “Nougat.”
On top of the new phone, there are also new Moto Mods to get excited for. There’s the 360 Camera, new JBL SoundBoost 2, and GamePad. Availability of these differ just a little bit, with the GamePad Moto Mod shipping August 25, purchasable exclusively through Verizon. The same goes for the Red-colored SoundBoost 2 speaker, but it’s available and shipping today. Should you not be on Verizon, but still want to buy a GamePad Moto Mod, follow this link.
For anyone who does pick up a new Z2 Force, you’ll be eligible for a free Moto Insta-Share Projector Mod by mail. Those things were like $300 last year, so that’s pretty sweet.
