Verizon and Motorola are pushing updates to their Moto Z line of phones to kick off the week. In fact, all of their current Moto Z phones are grabbing new software versions today, including the new Moto Z2 Play.
The Moto Z DROID and Moto Z Force DROID are updating to software version NCL26.118-23, while the Moto Z Play DROID is getting NDN26.118-23. I’m told those updates are to Android 7.1.1 as well (Edit: confirmed below, plus July security patch), but I can’t confirm as I don’t have any of those phones in house at the moment. Let us know in the comments!
As for the Moto Z2 Play (our review), it’s getting software version NDS26.118-23.
All of the updates are listed as being security patches.
Cheers Kyle!
