Summer is in full swing, and to celebrate, Cricket Wireless is hosting a few deals to get customers excited. The big marquee promo is the offering of 2 lines of unlimited data, paired together for just $80/month.

While that sounds killer, don’t forget the small print, which clearly states, “Data speed limited to max 3Mbps; video streaming max of 1.5 Mbps. After 22GB of data usage, Cricket may slow speeds.” Is 3Mbps pretty darn slow? Absolutely, but also take into account Cricket’s entire LTE network is limited to 8Mbps. This plan is open to upgrading and new customers.
