Adobe announced a big time update for Lightroom this morning, declaring that the photo editing app has been redesigned “from the ground up.” With this redesign, the app is said to deliver a more native and natural experience.

While those words are fancy, the real changes are inside of the actual editing tools. Both the Selective Editing and Standard Editing modes have been reworked to work better for Android, plus an updated Organize View has been worked in. Essentially, every little piece of the app should look and feel better on Android devices, which is something we’re happy about.

The update is free to download, but of course, you’ll want an Adobe Cloud account to really take advantage of everything Adobe offers.

Have at it.
