According to a recent report from AFTV News, Amazon is looking to join the 3rd-party messaging landscape, with an app called Anytime in the works.

From the information shared, we get the sense that Anytime will be available to anyone who wants it and usable on all platforms — smartphones, tablets, PCs, smartwatches, etc. While Amazon has not publicly shared any information, screenshots from a survey captured by AFTV News details features that we might see. As listed, there are filters for sharing photos and videos, PvP gaming, chat customization (nicknames and color codes), music listening with Amazon music library integration, food ordering, plus a whole lot more.

Here is the screenshot that is circulating regarding the potential features of Anytime.

With Amazon not making a peep about what Anytime is, there is more speculation than actual information at this time. However, with this set of features and the possibility of it being available to everyone on nearly any device, it does sound extremely promising.

Would you ditch your messenger of choice for an Amazon messaging app?
