HTC Teases New Edge Sense Features for U11

This morning, HTC is teasing a few upcoming Edge Sense features for owners of the U11. If you aren’t familiar with HTC’s fancy new and somewhat gimmicky feature, the sides of the U11 are pressure sensitive, allowing users to squeeze their device to start tasks. You can open apps, apply shortcuts, and things of that nature.

Once these changes are made, as shown in the video, users can squeeze their device to zoom inside of Google Maps and Google Photos, switch up views in Google Calendar, as well as answer and hang up calls.

HTC doesn’t detail when these changes will be made available, but rather, they’re all “on the roadmap.”

I want to hear from U11 owners. Do you use a lot of Edge Sense?
