AT&T Just Added HBO to Unlimited Plus Plan for Free

at&t

Starting tomorrow (April 6), AT&T will hand out free HBO to current and new customers who are a part of their Unlimited Plus data plan. This news arrives on the heels of last month’s offer that included a free year of HBO to DIRECTVNOW customers. Now, though, the DIRECTVNOW portion of the freebie is no longer a requirement.

AT&T doesn’t appear to be requiring much here, outside of being a subscriber to Unlimited Plus, which is the top tier unlimited data plan they offer. To get the free HBO, you’ll simply need to “access your HBO content through the DIRECTV NOW and HBO Go apps.” In other words, starting tomorrow, as an Unlimited Plus customer, you should just have access through those apps.

AT&T hasn’t said how long the free HBO subscription is good for, but unlike the DIRECTVNOW deal, they aren’t limiting it to just 1-year at this time. As long as you are subscribed to Unlimited Plus, it sure looks like you’ve got free HBO for a while.
