T-Mobile is switching up its prepaid plans this week, introducing two Simply Prepaid options with set amounts of high-speed data, plus a single T-Mobile ONE Prepaid plan for those in need of unlimited data.
For Simply Prepaid, there are two options, a $45/month option with 4GB of high-speed data and a 6GB option for $55/month. Both of these options come with unlimited talk, text, and data, but keep in mind that the data’s speed will be highly limited once you exceed that initial 4GB or 6GB of LTE data.
T-Mobile also offers International calling add-ons for the plans, starting at an extra $5/month.
If you need something a bit larger, T-Mobile is also offering the ONE Unlimited Prepaid plan. With this, you pay $75/month, but receive unlimited high-speed data, unlimited Mexico/Canada calling, unlimited 3G mobile hotspot tethering, and ability to purchase a $3 a day HD video streaming pass. Without that pass, your streamed videos will be downgraded to 1.5Mbps.
Should you be in the top 3% of data users (>30GB/mo.), T-Mobile reserves the right to throttle your speeds down with its network prioritization. Also, T-Mobile specifies that the One Prepaid option cannot benefit from an AutoPay discount or KickBack.
