Video: Huawei P10 Unboxing and Hands-On

While the Huawei P10 won’t be hitting the US any time soon that we know of, we still wanted to get our hands on one. With its 5.1″ display, smooth metallic body and high-end specs, who could resist?

Announced during MWC last month, the P10 is already available in select markets, priced at what equates to $700. That’s not cheap. For that price, you get a 5.1″ FHD display, Kirin 960 processor (same as Mate 9), 4GB RAM, dual Leica-branded cameras, fingerprint reader, expandable storage, 3200mAh battery, and EMUI 5.1 atop Android “Nougat.”

Now, for US buyers who are highly interested in the P10, I recommend holding off on importing this device. While the phone will work fine on GSM carriers, it is expected that Huawei’s Honor brand will release something similar for us, rumored to be the Honor 8 Pro. We don’t yet have specifics on launch or anything, but that phone should be worth waiting for.

In the meantime, here’s our unboxing of the P10.
