An update for Google News & Weather is set to roll out this week, centered entirely on bringing more headlines to your eyeballs.
According to Google, they have added over 200 headlines of content to the home section of the app, meaning you have a lot of news to get through. After a bit of research, Google found that users were hitting the bottom of the page looking for more to read. To fix that, you guessed it, Google is packing in the stories.
With many content publishers supporting AMP (including DL), stories and media load quickly through this app, meaning you can read all of the important info without waiting. As the app’s name suggests, you can also check your weather forecast.
