Pre-orders of the HTC U Ultra in the US are apparently shipping from HTC’s store, but look, you should probably cancel yours and just order one through eBay if this is the phone for you. eBay has been selling them for a good week or two now, with one seller dropping the price like crazy over the past few days. You can currently buy a brand new, unlocked U Ultra for as low as $635.99. That’s an insane $113 discount on a phone that hasn’t even technically launched yet.
The specific model being sold is the one we’re reviewing right now. It’s dual-SIM, so you can travel like a boss with it, or just kick it on two carriers for the heck of it. It’s unlocked and works perfectly on both AT&T and T-Mobile, just like the US model that you would overpay massively for at $749.
Colors available are black, white, blue, and pink, though the blue may already be sold out. In the box, you get the HTC USonic earbuds, case, and cleaning cloth, just like you do in the US, as well. The charger included in the box is an international charger, but the seller is throwing in a US adapter.
One downside is the lack of HTC’s Uh Oh Protection. Since this phone is purchased through eBay, you won’t get the free screen replacement or water damage coverage.
Free shipping is included. Should you order today, you may even have the bad boy before US pre-orders arrive.
