The V20 on Verizon was made available last night online, but already, the carrier is sending out the first update for the device labeled as software version VS99511A. Inside, you won’t find anything too crazy, but Verizon does list “performance enhancements.”
In addition to a performance boost, Verizon also states that the update includes the latest security patches from Google, as well as resolves “known issues.” That’s it.
Since many buyers probably don’t even have the device yet, expect to see it as a day-one update once you are booted up.
