A soak test is rolling out to the Moto X (2nd Gen) on Verizon, bringing what could be a very important update for current owners. Still to this day, the Moto X (2nd Gen) does not feature simultaneous voice and data, so it is possible that this soak test will be implementing that feature.
This variant of the Moto X was approved for Android 5.1 in late June, so it it also possible users could see Android 5.1.1, in addition to the voice + data functionality.
Once the update starts hitting devices, we will update the post so everyone knows what Verizon and Motorola are up to.
