Nexus 6 WiFi Calling Update Approved by T-Mobile, Should Roll Out Soon

Breaking news on this Friday. T-Mobile just approved a software update for the Nexus 6, which to the delight of owners, will enable WiFi Calling. We have been following the saga of this update, and according to T-Mo’s Des Smith, a handful of owners should see the update this weekend.

Once owners receive this update, they will be able to make calls over a WiFi connection, instead of relying on a network. This is usually a feature highlighted very largely by T-Mobile’s marketing department, and finally, it’s coming to the Nexus 6.

Des states that if all goes well, completion of the rollout should take a couple of weeks.

You excited, Nexus 6 owners?
