The ZTE-made SPro 2 Smart Projector, which was showcased at this year’s CES, is hitting AT&T’s network on April 24. Potential buyers can pick it up for $399 on-contract or $499 with no agreement.
Being the neat little machine that it is, the SPro2 is a portable projector with auto keystone correction, WiFi hotspot for up to 10 devices, and can also stream media via a full-size HDMI port. Coming with its own built-in storage, you an also expand your space with a built-in SD card slot.
You interact with the device through a 5″ HD touchscreen with 200 lumens, built right into the unit. And with complete access to Google Play, you can download all of your favorite work apps, making you a real hit at the next board meeting where you can set this bad boy up and show it off. If you need another example of where to use it, you could always set up a backyard movie night for the kids with it.
As of right now, the device ships with Android 4.4.4, and I do not know if any buyers should expect to see a Lollipop update in the near future. The battery size is listed at 6300mAh, which should offer you plenty of juice for tethering and projecting.
