For what is likely a limited time, Best Buy is selling the Moto G (1st Gen) for Verizon prepaid customers through its website and eBay, priced at just $40. This is the model from 2013, which features no LTE connectivity, but does have a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, basic Android with minimal Motorola UI tweaks on top, 5MP rear-facing shooter, and a 4.5″ HD display.
For $40, you would be pressed to find a better option if your smartphone budget is limited. The newer models of the Moto G and Moto E feature 4G LTE radios, but also come with high price tags. This may even be a good starter phone for a young teen in your life.
And while it may not be as good as that $25 flash sale which happened earlier this week, an extra $15 is not bad.
If $40 sounds good, follow the links below.
