According to Samsung’s firmware website, the Sprint variant of the Galaxy Note 3 is receiving its Lollipop update, labeled as version PVPUEOC5. Inside, Android 5.0 is the OS of choice, not to be mistaken with Android 5.0.2 or Android 5.1. This is apparently pure Android 5.0.
The update will bring all of Lollipop’s updated look, with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI running on top, of course. However, even though TouchWiz is there, you can get excited over new animations, more fluid performance, and lockscreen notifications. There is plenty to be excited about.
So, if you own a Note 3 on Sprint, go start looking for that update.
