A feature which was once available to users has returned again, that being a My Maps feature in Google Maps. Announced on Twitter, users can now create and save their very own routes on Google Maps, then share them with friends if needed through the Maps application.
Maps you create can be biking trails, hiking, kayaking, or any other type of route you would want to save for another time. These maps can then be accessed through the Maps app, which allows for the ultimate portability of your maps.
To access this feature, head into the “Your Places” section of the Google Maps app. From here, you can view all of your creations.
The updated Maps app is rolling out to users through Google Play, so keep your eyes open for it.
