Google Search Movie Results Now a Whole Lot Prettier

A refresh to Google Search results for movies is apparently rolling out on Android, according to Google’s G+ page. I can’t say that I have searched for “show me Angelina Jolie movies” in a while (read: ever), but the beautiful new UI that shows after searching for that is very nice. You can see it in action below. 

The new look of the results shows movie posters with colorful cards that when tapped, evoke Material Design guidelines like ripples, sliding menus, and popping animations. It is quite lovely. The listings also give you quick links to trailers, Rotten Tomatoes scores, cast bios, and places to rent or buy the films.

To give it a spin, go search for your favorite actor. If you don’t get the experience that is featured below, that’s because Google is “rolling” it out now.
