AT&T Announces Unlimited Calling to Mexico Through Its World Connect Value Package

Announced this morning, AT&T has a big new feature for its World Connect Value customers. Starting today, for just $5/month per line, subscribers gain access to unlimited calling from the U.S. to any number in Mexico, including mobile numbers, at no additional charge.

We can thank AT&T’s recent acquisition of Mexico-based wireless provider Iusacell for this new feature, as AT&T will now look to broaden its reach south of the US border. As for any restrictions on this plan, the main one is that you must be a postpaid subscriber, but that’s about it. The $5 a month includes calling and unlimited SMS and MMS messages, thanks to AT&T’s announcement of Mobile Share Value.

AT&T states that Mexico is the number one country outside of the US that its customers call, so for that added little bit a month, a lot of people may benefit from this new offering.
