After posting our Nexus 6 unboxing and initial impressions video at the end of last week, a number of you have asked for us to compare this or that device to it side-by-side. I would imagine that’s because the device is indeed a whale with its 6-inch Quad HD display. So, we went ahead and did just that today.
In the video below, you will see how the Nexus 6 looks when sitting side-by-side with the DROID Turbo, Nexus 5, Moto X (2nd gen), Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8), LG G3, and the much smaller, Xperia Z3 Compact. These comparisons aren’t much more than a look at how much bigger the Nexus 6 is, so don’t expect us to show off camera samples and talk performance. There also isn’t a winner or loser – we are simply talking size here.
Update: Somehow, I used a Galaxy Note 3 in the video instead of the Galaxy Note 4. Since it’s too late at this point to do another video, I’ve included pictures below of the Nexus 6 to the Galaxy Note 4.
As you will see from the video, the Nexus 6 is the king of big phones. It’s huge. But you might be surprised at our thoughts on its build and in-hand feel when sitting next to some of its competitors.
This is going to be an interesting review period.
