This morning, Google flipped the shipping estimate on the Nexus 9 to “leaves warehouse in 1-2 days.” Since tomorrow is November 3 and launch day, that move certainly makes a whole lot of sense. Another way to look at that shipping estimate, is that the device is in-stock and ready for you to order this minute. Depending on which shipping method you choose, you could have a brand new Nexus 9 running Android 5.0 “Lollipop” within a couple of days.
At this time, Google is still only selling either the black or white WiFi models with 16GB or 32GB of storage. The tan and LTE models are marked as “coming soon.”
We aren’t sure how other retailers are handling tomorrow’s launch, meaning, if you pre-ordered from someone like Amazon, we don’t know when those items will ship. They could ship tomorrow, though.
