Nexus 6 Unboxing and Gallery

The Nexus 6 is in house! You know this already if you saw our post verifying that it works just fine on Verizon’s network, but for those who didn’t – we have a Nexus 6 in house! Yes, Google’s new premium flagship is in-hand, blubber and all, ready for us to get to testing.

Before we get there, obviously there are some things we like to do to kickstart the process. One of those is to unbox the device and then give you some initial reactions. So, that’s exactly what you will find below.

As a recap, the Nexus 6 is already up for pre-order (out of stock at the moment) through Google Play at $649 (32GB) and $699 (64GB) in Midnight Blue or Cloud White. The device comes unlocked, meaning it will work out of the box on AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and yes, Verizon. All of those carriers plan to make the phone available in their stores, but most have not mentioned pricing or dates of available outside of T-Mobile. T-Mobile has told us to expect the 32GB model on November 12 for $649.

With that out of the way, I’m sure you want to know what we think of Google’s whale, right? Well, it’s big. It also feels very premium in-hand, which makes sense since it’s really just a bigger version of this year’s Moto X. We will surely have more thoughts beyond that shortly, but really, have only spent a couple of minutes with the phone to do this unboxing.

So, enjoy the unboxing and gallery, and then hang with us for more Nexus 6 coverage.
