The Moto 360 is not exactly rugged; its internals may be protected by a stainless steel exterior and Gorilla Glass 3, but that does not mean it is not susceptible to nicks, scratches, or worse. Lucky for paranoid owners, one enterprising user of 3D printing marketplace Shapeways, has begun selling an additional layer of protection – bumper cases.
The cases, which are available in short (encircles the outside of the watch body) or tall (extends 1.5mm above the front glass) configurations, come in a variety of colors and are made from nylon plastic. They contain cutouts for the wristband and power button, but are otherwise tastefully nondescript. At just $8 a pop, they are also surprisingly reasonable.
Pair one of these babies with Spigen tempered glass, and your Moto 360 should become darn well near indestructible.
Cheers Robert!
