Sony unveiled its newest flagship yesterday at IFA, the Xperia Z3, bound for T-Mobile here in the US. However, according to a report from PC Mag, the device will also hit Verizon’s network as the Xperia Z3v in the near future.
Thanks to leaked documents which were unreleased by PC Mag, the Xperia Z3v is shown with Verizon logos on its backside, as well as a list of apps that will come preloaded on the device, such as the Amazon Appstore, Kindle app, and Amazon Music.
As far as specs, the Xperia Z3v should come with the same Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 5.2″ 1080p display as the T-Mobile variant.
Of course, it should be noted that this would be Sony and Verizon’s first smartphone partnership since the Xperia Play device, which launched all the way back in 2011.
If the Xperia Z3 does in fact come to Verizon as the Xperia Z3v, are you interested?
