If you thought that T-Mobile was done making moves after its event last night, you would be wrong. T-Mobile is looking to continue to impress people with the roll-out of their VoLTE service to more markets around the country, assuming those people have devices that are ready to take advantage of it. Starting today, updates are coming to devices like the G Flex, Note 3, and Galaxy S5 with support for all of the new markets.
Previous to today’s updates, the LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 already had VoLTE functionality, but it was limited to the Seattle and San Francisco markets. Those two phones will be receiving new updates to enable VoLTE in all markets where it is already live. As if that wasn’t good enough news, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be receiving an update today as well to bring its VoLTE capabilities online in all of the markets.
If you need a refresher on what markets T-Mobile has covered in VoLTE, they’re listed below and at this post:
- Atlanta, GA
- Austin, TX
- Chicago, IL
- Dallas, TX
- Houston, TX
- Long Island
- Los Angeles, CA
- Minneapolis, MN
- New England
- New Jersey
- New York, NY
- Philadelphia, PA
- San Francisco, CA
- Seattle, WA
- Washington D.C.
Impressed by the moves that T-Mobile has been making these past 24 hours?
