The new firmware brings most, if not all, of Kit Kat’s standard functionality, including immersive mode, enhanced UI, and a ton of other things. From Samsung’s changelog, expect to see a restyled status and navigation bar, expanded emoji icons, wireless printing, and full-screen album art and media controls on the lock screen. Improved performance is also in tow.
The new firmware has begun rolling out to Sprint Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 devices.
For the impatient among you, manually updating is as easy as navigating to Settings > About tablet > Software updates.
