Renders for two models of the Galaxy Tab 4, the 8.0 and the 10.1, both headed for Verizon’s network have been leaked by @evleaks this morning. The Samsung tablets were announced by the manufacturer on April 1, with global pre-orders beginning April 24, but at the time, no clues were dropped as to which exact US carriers they would be seen on.
Now that time has passed, it appears both tablets will come packed with 4G LTE radios on Big Red, likely with the ability to take advantage of the network’s new XLTE bandwidth.
Both tablets feature a 1280 x 800 resolution display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 3MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 4,000+mAh battery, and come running Android 4.4.
The specifications will not blow you out of the water, so don’t expect the Galaxy Tab 4 series to be priced out of reach.
When they become official, which should be very soon, we will let you know.
