Now that the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 have received Kit Kat (on most carriers – sorry Verizon customers), it’s time to start moving towards the Galaxy S3, since Sammy promised an update for the 2-year old device. Sprint appears to be one of the first out of the gate with an Android 4.4 update, letting us know that it is ready in the form of build L710VPUCND8.
Sprint’s own support site shows that the update has been approved for rollout as of May 1, which is today.
Be on the lookout for the update. You can check for it by heading into Settings>More>System update>Update Samsung software>Check new.
Once we have a decent changelog, we will update this post.
