The developers of GO Launcher have started the teasing process for an upcoming major update that is set for release sometime in May. There are not many details, but what we do know is that the app has been reportedly reworked from the ground up, and will bring new user experiences, as well as new features for everyone to try.

According to the development team, the purpose of this update is to “bring users simple and intelligent mobile experiences.” We don’t know exactly how simple they intend on going, but we are excited to find out.

As it stands in our community, thanks to the polls we constantly run, it looks like most of your are either running Nova Launcher or the stock Google Now Launcher, with only a small handful of people running anything else. To be honest, I have ran GO Launcher maybe just once in my Android career, but I will probably have to give version 5.0 a decent run after its release. It’s always nice to switch things up a bit.

The update should go live sometime in May, so keep your eyes peeled on that Play link below.
