According to sources, US Cellular is jumping on the “better bang for your current buck” trend that almost all of the major U.S. wireless carriers have fallen under over the last couple of weeks. It’s a competitive world out there, so carriers are now offering you more data for the same price. Verizon did it with MORE Everything, AT&T did it with family and individual plans (Aio Wireless too), and so did T-Mobile (sort of).
Come March 13, US Cellular will make their new shared data plans official and permanent. Their $40 plan with 300MB of data will now be 1GB, the $50 plan jumps from 1GB to 2GB, and the $60 plan rises from 2GB to 3GB. There will also be a new $15/300MB plan and a $60 single line plan with 1GB of data.
If you are a current US Cellular customer, your account will automatically upgrade to the new data amount.
